TREF Scholarship: High School Seniors

TREF awards this scholarship to graduating high school seniors who have been accepted into a college or university and current undergraduate students enrolled with at least 12 credit hours.

TREF Scholarship: Existing Undergraduates

TREF awards annual scholarships to existing college/university undergraduate students that have completed a minimum of 12 college credit hours and pursuing any major / concentration.  These scholarships help students offset tuition and other academic fees.

Glamora J. Maeweather Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established in memory of Glamora Jordan-Maeweather, a charter member of Tau Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, who was a registered nurse. TREF awards this scholarship to students enrolled in an accredited nursing program.

Annie Marie Ford Leadership Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Annie Marie Ford, a true leader who is committed to encouraging participation and identifying talents and skills in others. TREF awards this scholarship to undergraduates with 12 or more credit hours who exemplify strong leadership characteristics.

Ray Charles “Chuck” Easley Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of Ray Charles “Chuck” Easley, a long-time community activist with the Westside Branch NAACP. TREF awards this scholarship to graduating high school seniors who exemplify a strong desire to serve.

Dr. Mark E. Williams, Sr. Scholarship

This scholarship was established in honor of the late husband of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Tau Gamma Omega Chapter member Stephanie A. Whyte-Williams, MD. Dr. Williams was a proud HBCU graduate and internal medicine physician. TREF awards this scholarship to undergraduates attending an HBCU with science majors on pre-medicine, pre-dentistry, or pre-pharmacy program tracks.
