TREF Program Initiatives
The Tea Rose Educational Foundation was established in 2000 and is a 501 (c)(3) organization. The foundation provides financial support to the charitable projects and programs of Tau Gamma Omega Chapter.
Empower Our Families
TREF will support programs that address child hunger and promote positive youth development and leadership, mental well- being, and senior life.
Build Our Economic Wealth
TREF will promote programs that build personal, organizational, and community economic wealth by focusing on financial wellness, supporting women entrepreneurs, and promoting Black Dollar Days.
Enhance Our Environment
TREF will prioritize activities that promote the adoption of more sustainable and responsible environmental practices by focusing on tree planting, waste reduction, shredding and electronics recycling.
Advocate for Social Justice
Under this initiative, TREF will focus on providing voter education, registration and mobilization activities, public policy forums, and candidate forums.
Uplift Our Local Community
TREF will celebrate excellence, promote a focus on service, and stimulate effective culture and showcase best practices in a “Local Change, Big Impact, and Global Showcase.”
